Job description
Harvesting hay 50%. Remove by hand: debris, trash, brush, small trees, weed, etc. 10%. Form rows, mow grass, transplant, check & repair fences 05%. Clean,maintain and repair stalls, pens, farm area, barns, equipment, etc.05% Use of hand tools 05%(shovels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, clippers, knives, etc.)Loading, unloading, farm field, irrigation, cultivation & shed sanitation duties 05%. Minor maintenance & operation of farm equipment 05% Walk behind bailer/tractor throwing bails by hand 05%. ONLY WHEN TIME ALLOWS assist with horses, duties may include but are not limited to: feeding, watering, herding, cleaning, administer medications, vaccinate, etc.10%
Special Requirements
Must have 3 months experience in operating farm equipment with or without implements such as tractors, balers, rakes, mowers, etc.
Once hired worker may be required to submit to a random drug test at no cost to worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment
