Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Bring cattle home from pasture in December. Grinding feed. Feeding Cattle. Checking and thawing waters. Castrating bull calves. Caring for the cattle. Cleaning cattle lots. Vaccinating/Medicating cattle. Return cattle to pasture at the end of March. Occasionally drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Monitoring calving cows for trouble, pulling calves as needed, and monitoring calf health.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. No minimum education required. Basic literacy and arithmetic requirement. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
