Job description
Nursery Work - Order Pulling Labor, Truck Loading Labor, Plant Unloading Labor, Tagging of Nursery Stock, Construction and Assembly of Shipping Racks, Rack Spreading, Plant Bunching, Shotgun Spacing, Hauling and Moving of Plants, Staking/Tying and Pruning of Nursery Stock, Plant Stabilization, Pruning of Nursery Stock, Hand Fertilization Labor, Installing/Removing Shade Cloth, Setting Up Plants, Weeding of the Production Areas, Winter Blanket/Sandbag Installation and Removal Labor, Lath Removal from Greenhouses, Covering Overwintering Houses, Container Shift Planting, Barefoot Planting and Liner Direct Planting, Canfilling, Cuttings and Sticking, Tray Filling, and Weedings of Propagation. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Drug testing and background checks may occur during the interview process and will be conducted at the sole expense and discretion of the employer. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
