Job description
Job duties include operating farm equipment to plant, irrigate, and harvest crops. Duties also include loading and unloading grain bins, shop work, maintenance on equipment such as changing oil, installation and removal of levee gates, installation and removal of poly pipe, spraying round up around the buildings, clean up work around the farmstead. Equipment that employees will operate includes but is not limited to tractors, semi trucks, pickup trucks, polaris, and side by sides. Daily activities will also include manual labor such as sweeping bins, work with poly pipe, using hand tools in fields when necessary, and washing equipment. Employees must have 3 months of experience, basic English literacy, reading, and math skills, and the ability to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
Special Requirements
Employees must be able to lift 50 pounds. Criminal background check may be done post hire at the employer's expense to ensure the safety of the workers.
