Job description
Assist in stocking ponds; hook up feed machine, haul to ponds, cast feed along ponds; hook up probiotic tank, apply req'd amount to ponds; check screens at inlets/outlets of ponds, replace/repair damaged screens; brush fouling; check feed trays, report results, adjust feed rations; periodically sample shrimp & ponds to determine avg weight & shrimp per pond; assist to harvest ponds & ready them for dormant season; remove screens, gate boards; do necessary repairs; put everything in storage.
Special Requirements
M-F. May be requested but not required to work Saturdays, Sundays, & holidays. Schedule may vary. 3 months experience shrimp farming.
