Job description

Work directly with embryologist in connection with embryo transfer to cattle; follow embryologist developed protocols for cows; maintaining cattle in a comfortable, stress free environment; attend to sick and birthing animals; monitor animal health daily to check for pregnancy and medical issues, feed and water cattle; clean and maintain animal housing areas/grounds; build, repair, and maintain fence, corrals, feed and water equipment; dispensing medications & treatments prescribed by embryologist; pushing, pulling, walking and stooping; operating feed truck and ranch equipment; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite; improving grazing areas and hay fields, planting and harvesting sunflowers, corn, and/or milo and improved grasses and bailing hay; complete conversion of rice field into native grasses suitable for cattle and deer; tallow tree and invasive plant removal and maintenance; clearing trees and following drainage plans to establish wildlife corridors for deer and cattle.
