Job description
Install landscape materials at customer sites; install trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, decorative rock, containers, landscape mulch and plastic edging using manual hand tools; load and unload trucks with retail products, related hard goods and equipment at customer site and landscape distribution center; organize products; clean truck cab (sweep inner crew cab to remove any dirt or debris to ensure the truck always looks professional and safe to operate; clean crew cab dash and windows to ensure professional image of the vehicle and to remove any visual impairments for driving; and remove any garbage or debris from the entire crew cab to ensure a professional image is maintained); clean truck dump box and tool box and check fluid levels (check oil level on the engines dip-stick to ensure the vehicles oil is in safe operating range; check power steering fluid to ensure that fluid levels are is in a safe operating range; and check brake fluid levels to ensure that fluid levels are in a safe operating range); operate front-end loaders (moving planting soil from the back of a landscape truck to backyard landscape projects; move 500-1500 lbs. plant material around a residential job site; and load landscape trucks with soil and mulch with a 1/2 cu. yd. bucket in loading yard) and may drive truck and crew to and from customer location.
May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers.
F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35-45 hours/week, 0-10 OT hours/week, OT varies; 7+ hour shifts; 5 days/week (Mon-Fri; business is open 5 days/week); 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
F.b.9a: Workers will be paid no less than $15.64 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid no less than $23.46 per hour.
F.b.9a: Depending on work conditions, the employer may offer workers performing certain tasks during certain periods of the season an opportunity to earn an incentive bonus over and above the guaranteed rate of pay set forth above. If offered, such incentive bonuses will be based on the quantity and quality of work performed and offered to all workers working on the activity(ies) and during the time period(s) when such incentive bonuses are offered. If an incentive bonus is offered, the fact that the bonus is to be offered and the manner in which the bonus will be determined, will be explained to all affected workers before the start of any work period or activity subject to such a bonus. Incentive bonuses are offered at the sole discretion of the employer, and no bonus or opportunity to earn a bonus is promised or guaranteed.

(Please note that since receiving the Prevailing Wage Determination, the primary worksite has moved from 1124 Tillery Street, Austin, TX 78702 to 6000 B US Hwy 183 S, Austin, TX 78744. This is 7.5 miles from the original worksite and within the same Bureau of Labor Statistics Area, Austin-Round Rock, TX. Therefore, the prevailing wage remains valid and continues to support this filing and the listed worksite.)
F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from the main lot at 6000 B US Hwy 183 S, Austin, TX 78744 to and from worksites.
