Job description

Employees will assist with planting, spraying and harvesting wheat, white corn, yellow corn and soybeans and working cattle. We need seasonal employees to assist with the planting of crops in the spring using JD 8130 with Greenstar GPS and JD1795 12/23 split row planters and a JD1990 CCS drill. Employees will apply protection products during spring and summer using JD4730 with Greenstar and 90ft booms. Employees will harvest crops using JD9770 and JDS670 combines with JD6120 corn heads and MacDon FD35 draper. Employees will be responsible to complete routine maintenance and service on all equipment. Employees will separate, feed, and medicate cattle as needed. Employee must have some knowledge of engine mechanics and be able to work on both gasoline and diesel machinery. Employee must be able to get along with others as we have several employees and will not tolerate disagreements among employees. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion.

Special Requirements

Employee must be eligible to obtain a state drivers license by taking a written test and drivers test. Must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires repetitive movements, extensive walking, pushing, pulling, long work days and frequent stooping. This is not a management position. Employer has a drug free workplace and will conduct post-hire drug testing and post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee. Failing a drug test will result in termination. No one will be hired with a violent/theft background. Require 3 months experience.
