Job description
Help repair & maintain farm equipment , shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Cleaning & treating of the seed rice for planting & general maintenance of rice bins; workers will also assist in rice drying operation including upkeep, sweeping, shoveling rice, spreading rice in bins, cleaning up rice spills, leveling bins & unloading/loading rice trucks; transport rice to mill. Drive tractor, plow fields, planting & harvest rice & soybean crop. Spot spray/fertilize. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps, operate motorized & push crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, repair traps as needed, load & unload trucks, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements, and working outside in inclement weather conditions.
Special Requirements
Working outside in inclement weather conditions, must have legal authority to work within in the United States, Frequent stooping and bending over while crawfishing, in fields, and while performing other job duties.
