Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (checking fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Crops: Corn, Rye, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat

Equipment: John Deere 680 combine 9650sts John Deere combine 2 John Deere 8970 tractors. John Deere 4960 Tractor 2410 John Deere chisel plow 52ft summers roller. John Deere 4940 sprayer JD 8345RT tractor.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
