Job description
Job requires operating farm equipment including, but not limited to, tractors with various implements, combines, and sprayers to till soil; prepare land; and plant, spray, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, & harvest crops. Job also requires performing mechanical repair and maintenance; regularly cleaning and servicing equipment; maintaining clean and organized work areas; and using hand tools in fields to maintain proper field conditions for crop growth and remove undesirable plant varieties and objects from fields. Daily duties may vary depending on crop and weather conditions. Pay increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience or merit.
Special Requirements
Job requires having or being able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Job duties will require workers to perform duties outdoors during periods when temperature may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Job duties will require periods when workers will push, pull, sit, or walk for extended periods.
