Job description
Operating large, high horsepower John Deere farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS (auto guidance) for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn, cotton; setting seed depth for planting, controlling flow rates of fertilizer, adjusting threshing settings of harvesters; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, wells, pumps, gearboxes; water crops; clearing trash; mow and clear brush; spread manure; driving farm vehicle to obtain inputs for producing crops; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
