Job description

Performs duties like: Small grain seeding, Drive, operate, and maintain farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as drill and planter to tractor. Plant and cultivate grain. Drive tender truck to transport chemicals or fertilizers to drill, planter, or sprayer. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Drive and operate haying equipment (rake, baler, loader, mower). General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain or silage trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Equipment: tractor, combine, drill, planter, sprayer, haying equipment
Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Milo, Silage, Sorghum, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Wheat, Winter Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
