Job description
Unload grain from storage to be cleaned and tendered to planters; field prep for planting of soybeans, milo, rice, corn; receive stocker calves, feed and medicate calves; field prep with tractors, machine maintenance; installing fence around grazing forages for stocker calves, put stocker calves onto grazing forages such as sorghum, sudan, native grass, monitor calf health; operate planter for planting row crops; cut, swath, rake, and bale hay; move cattle to fresh forage; install poly-pipe irrigation in row crop fields; operate combine and grain carts to harvest wheat; operate haying equipment for the second cutting of hay; poly-pipe irrigation management; move cattle to fresh forage; prepare machinery and equipment for fall harvest; harvest corn, rice, soybeans, milo, remove irrigation poly-pipe from field; pull stocker calves off of forage as the plant dies, sell stocker calves; clean equipment after harvest; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
