Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate tractors to seed, harvest, and store grain crops. Attach farm implements to tractors. Drive and operate combines. Drive and operate self propelled sprayers. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to bin sites or grain elevators. Must be able to operate grain augers or conveyors to load and unload grain bins. Must be able to shovel grain crops to unload grain bins. Operate lawn mowers to maintain yards and grain bin locations.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
