Job description
Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops such as corn, alfalfa. Adjusts speed of cutters, blowers and conveyers and height of cutting head, using hand tools. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crops; drives heavy truck to transport produce to elevator or storage area. Drives transporter truck to haul harvesting machines between worksites. Services machinery, and makes in field repairs; driving farm pickup; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
