Agriculture Equipment Operator

Job description

Job Duties include: Drive and operates farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities of planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops such as potatoes and beans. The workers will drive tractors and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize.

They will transport materials, supplies or crops to storage bins or local elevators. Routine maintenance will need to be done on all buildings, equipment and grounds.

Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. NO TEXTING. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours or in the housing unit. No Educational level required. Must have six months tractor driving experience with towed implements and computerized monitors. Must be able to read and speak English for safety reasons.

Special Requirements

Wage rate starts at $ 15.89 per hour experience and / or merit may reflect higher wage.
