Temporary Seasonal Position: Agricultural Equipment Operator | SOC Code: 45-2091

All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period.

Whiskey Creek Arkansas, Sioux City, IA, Woodbury

Possible shift: 7:00AM-4:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Corn, Rice, Soy Beans. Duties may include: Drive, Control farm equipment to till soil, to plant, cultivate, harvest crops. May perform tasks such as preparing soil and planting corn or soybeans, crop bailing or hay bucking , chop silage. May help load and unload combine and header, may perform walk around inspection check on equipment, be able to safely unload the combine while its cutting. Load tarps, wash clean equipment, grounds and area. Respect all property equipment & persons & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Combine, tractor operation & safety exp. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. Cell phone use allowable during designated breaks.
