Job description
Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Maintain and service equipment to the highest standard. Drive semi-trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Crops: Canola, Corn, Durum, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Must be able to operate and take care of precision metal fabrication equipment; independently figure out engineering problems to fix equipment and machinery on the farm. Have knowledge of mechanical and electrical issues. Independently work without supervision. Have knowledge how to handle NH3, anhydrous ammonia, safely as well as careful handling of equipment. Must be in physical shape to complete physical tasks on farms and know how to use tools properly. Must perform each task completely and skillfully. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
