General Farm Worker

Job description

Performs duties on a farm like: picking, weeding, packing in the employer owned packing house on the farm. Pruning, stringing, digging with shovels. Rolling & unrolling frost protectant fabric. Hoeing, planting on machine and by hand. 

Crops: Asparagus, Green pepper, Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Tomato, Watermelon

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
