Job description
Duties include the operation of large farm equipment, tractors, combines, sprayers, and off road machinery to till soil, plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops upon approval of supervisor. Employees will assist with planting, harvesting, general labor tasks as needed as well as manual tasks during irrigation season by laying and managing poly pipe. Duties also include equipment maintenance and cleaning and maintenance around the farmstead which includes weeding, landscaping, gardening, and nut harvesting tasks as needed. Position involves performing directed labor at grain bins during harvest as well as driving grain trucks from fields to bins. Daily duties may vary depending on field, crop, or weather conditions. Pay increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience or merit.
Special Requirements
Job requires having or being able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required.
