Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to prepare the soil, plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Drive farm trucks and equipment from field to field and tow farm equipment. General daily lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery, as well as machinery clean up (washing) as needed. Assist in the watering needs of agricultural crops with duties such as shoveling, walking the crops and adjusting watering operations as needed. General landscape duties as needed, such as mowing and weed eating.

Crops: Rice, Soy Beans

Equipment: John Deere Tractors Case Combines Atv's various tillage and planting implements

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
