Agricultural Equipment Operators

Job description

Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment (combines, tractors, trucks, semi's, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, tillage, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain/repair machinery. Maintain bin sites and dryer systems. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities with semi and trailer. Minor farm construction projects. Maintain farm grounds/mow clean up equipment and bin sites. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days' work. 1 hour meal break.

Crops: corn, soybeans

There are two shifts available. One from from 8am to 5pm and one from 5pm to 11pm.

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license, employment references, experience operating late model John Deere tractors and sprayers as well as experience with semi-truck and trailer driving, must have farming experience
