Job description
Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (Check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to deliver grain. Must be able to operate and apply chemicals with a self propelled spray rig.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
