Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as cultivator, chisel plow, harrow, rock picker, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; cultivate, pick rocks, and plant soil. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine, Operate tractor and grain cart. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Farm, building, and yard maintenance such as cleaning, mowing, and trimming. Field maintenance including removal of tree branches, limbs, rocks etc.

Crops: Canola, Soy Beans, Wheat, Corn

Equipment: John Deere - Tractors, Combine, Sprayer, Implements ( disk, air drills, cultivators, chisel plows, rock pickers, harrow, combine and headers).Kenworth Trucks & Wilson Trailers.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to climb up on grain bins. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
