Job description
We need seasonal employees to assist with the fresh produce that we grow including watermelon, tomatoes, cantaloupes, pumpkins, spring and fall squash, spinach, sweet corn, we also grow grain crops including soybeans, corn, rye and barley. his job will include working in our on-farm produce market to clean, sort and stock produce and other items, maintain a clean and organized market. Have good communication skills and work in an efficient manor to get the job done.
Special Requirements
Should be able to move and lift 50 lbs. Repetitive moving and extensive walking will be a daily duty. This job will require exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. This job will also be versatile to the main farming operation as to being available at times to help transport items between different farming ground and having equipment moved. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at employers expense to enforce a drug-free workplace policy. Must have a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
