Job description

Performs duties which includes: drive and operate farm machinery and perform service maintenance and preparation to farm machinery. Duties will include till soil, plant crops, cultivate crops, spray crops, fertilize crops, harvest grain, haul and store grain. Attach variety of farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Motivation and desire for farming.

Equipment: Tractor and Combine

Crops: Beans, Corn, Rye, Soy Beans, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires immediate drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to insurance liability. If CDL is obtained, sporadic drug screening may occur at no cost to the worker. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive walking is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
