Job description
Operate equipment for planting and harvesting rye grass & hay. Make hay into large round hay bales. Hoist/stack hay bales onto semi-trailer and unload in rows. Repair, replace, and build barbed-wire fence. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Clean up, maintain property and barns. Drive, load/unload semi trucks (on ranch only). renovate and fertilize pastures, weed spraying for grasses. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to all equipment used.

Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
