Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements using hitches, PTO shafts and wiring harnesses, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment on highways and gravel roads. Drive and safely operate self-propelled combine and tractor. Must be able to operate a sprayer and have knowledge of chemicals for sprayer. Must be able to drive and care for Semi's with trailers behind to transport grain to commercial elevators in nearest town or home place to unload into auger for storage in grain bins. Must be able to care and repair newer farm machinery. Must be able to listen to directions and ask for clarifications if necessary.

Equipment: DB90 JD planter, 4WD JD 9470 tractor, S680-HX self propelled combine.
Crops: Corn, Soy Beans, Sunflower, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
