Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Rice field work. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Fertilizer spraying. Lay pipe and daily irrigation practices. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Work in shop.

Crops: Corn, Soy Beans, Wheat

Equipment: Tractor, Combine, Grain Trucks

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to work long hours during the busy season. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
