Job description

Workers must be able to preform both Cattle working and fence building in order for task to be conducting .

Duties cattle working include herding cattle to administer the required. Castrating, vaccination, branding (in order to identify ownership and grade, using brands) weighing (on scales), catching and loading animals on the truck, or enclosures, vaccination.

May be required to repair fence for the task to be conducted.
When fencing workers will also be
required to install and removing barbed wire fencing within the worksite area. The removal process is taking down
metal post and removing all damaged barbwire and any debris that is obstructing there path. In the installation
process workers will need to prepare acreage in order for new installation of metal post and barbwire ranch
fencing to be installed.Workers maybe lifting up to 40lbs and walk extensively.

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temperature
Due to the hot summer temperatures in Texas.
Extensive sitting, due to sitting on 4 wheelers while separate/ gathering cattle.
Lifting requirements, in case a calf is being lifted while branded, etc. or while separating may need to lift up can weigh up to 40 lbs.
Repetitive movement, while vaccinating one cattle after another.
Extensive pushing and pulling are required when separating cattle.
Extensive walking, on ranch land, when gathering/separating cattle if for some reason (4 wheelers are down or unavailable).
Frequent stooping, when vaccinating / deworming/ branding or while repairing fence line.
