Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Perform duties like: Operate large GPS equipment, tractors, combine, and sprayers to till soil, plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize and harvest crops. Perform mechanical repair and maintenance. Drive to town to pick up supplies for the farm.

Crop/s: Corn, Cotton, Soy Beans, Wheat

Equipment: Tractors, Sprayers, Combines, Graincarts, Grain Bins, Cotton Pickers Pecan shaker and pecan harvester. The harvester is attached to a small tractor. A hauling wagon attached to a small tractor which moves the pecans to a conveyor belt where the imatures are removed from the mature nuts

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Basic literacy reading and math skills.
