Job description
Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed silage crops such as corn; adjusts speed of cutters, blowers and conveyers and height of cutting head, using hand tools; changes cutting head as appropriate for crops; drives truck to transport crops tp storage area; drives trucks to move harvesting machines between worksites; services machinery, and makes in field repairs; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental up keep to equipment and worksite.
Must have a valid California Driver's License and a Federal Conductor License to apply for this job.
Special Requirements
Six (6) months of recent and verifiable experience are required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain with 30 days following hire clean driving record to drive grain & transporter trucks. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, the worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must have a valid California Driver's License and a Federal Conductor License to apply for this job.
