Job description
Workers will operate tractors, sprayers, combines, harvesters and ground carts. Workers will plant, pull weeds and harvest by hand in areas machines cannot reach, maintain and service equipment and farm buildings. Workers will drive semi trucks to transport harvest and must possess a CDL or have valid drivers license and be eligible for a CDL. Workers will also be required to take a post hire drug test that is at the expense of the employer. Must have 3 months verifiable experience with a 400 hp tractor and other heavy farm equipment operation.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
Drug testing will be performed post hire and is at the expense of the employer. Drug testing will also be performed upon incidence or accident and failure or refusal to test will result in immediate termination.
