Job description

Drive and operate various farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Drive and operate combine and grain carts. Use various machines to fertilize and till the fields. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractors. Till the soil, plant and cultivate grain. General lubrication, Service machines such as check fluids and repair to farm machinery, tractors and trucks. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Crops: Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Oats.

Equipment highlights: JD9510r, JD8430, 3 Case Quadtracks, Case JX100, Case 9130, Grain Carts, Disc Chizzel, tillage equipment, Ground Rollers, Seed delivery, fertilizer delivery. Various semi trucks and pickups. JD S780 Combine, JD S670 Combine, Seed Drill, Corn Planters, and other machinery.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
