Job description

Perform duties on a farm such as:
Cultivate crops
Drive and operate farm machinery
Drive and operate self-propelled combines
Drive grain cart
Harvest crops
Load commodities into containers/conveyors
Maintain equipment
Plant crops
Plow and till soil
Use GPS autosteer systems
o Use skid steer loader
. Application of pesticides/herbicides, fertilizers to crops
r Clean bins
Load grain trucks
Clean and maintain grounds/facilities Mix materials/chemicals for planter/sprayer
Change oil in vehicles/equipment
Welding
Transport trucks from field at time of harvest to elevator/storage area
Maintain necessary invoices and paperwork association with crop production and equipment
Use cloud-based input and crop tracking applications
Categorize, edit, and reconcile grain tickets
General jobs that are associated with commercial grain crop production

Special Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lbs, Minimum of three (3) months experience required,
Must be able to obtain a drivers license with in 30 days of hire.
Employer requires drug post hire at the employer's expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public road. Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employers expense due to expensive tools and equipment on the farm . Failure to pass drug and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required, Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer maybe rewarded for exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
