Temporary Seasonal Position: Agricultural Equipment Operators | SOC Code: 45-2091
All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period.

Possible shift: 6:00AM-6:00PM. 60+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Corn, Soy Beans, Wheat, Alfalfa. Duties may include: Perform all duties related to grain harvest. Perform safety operational checks on tools, equipment daily for safe operation. Operate 2-way radio & fire extinguisher in case of field fires. Extensive stooping, bending, walking, Load/unload up to 50-90 lbs (1-2 man), tarp loads, wash, clean, wax equipment. Clean driving record, valid DL. Respect all property, equipment, and persons. Must not have allergies working in hay/grain field operation that may impair. Long hours apply; also downtimes may apply as hours may fluctuate due to weather and crop. Maintain all areas: sanitary, cleanliness & other related Agricultural Equipment Operators activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Farm equipment exp. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. Cell phone use allowable during designated breaks.
Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Must be 18 years of age. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/ refusal to abide = dismissal. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Cash advances may apply at employer discretion.
