Agricultural Equipment Operators

Job description

We farm 1000 acres of corn and soybean, also run 300 acres of hay ground. Beside commercial farming we run an ag research company and have multi crop test plots. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of raising these crops including tilling, planting, spraying harvesting and hauling. Employees will need to operate farm equipment to work the ground, plant the fields, operate a combine to harvest the field, mowers, and balers to mow and bale hay. Employees will need to help with planting, sampling, and harvesting the test plots as well. Must complete farm upkeep and maintenance and general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.

***Please note that for 2023 and beyond we will adjust our starting date to 3/1 to cover our entire crop season.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
