Job description
Conduct water quality studies of production ponds, operation & maintenance of dissolved oxygen meters; calculate injection rates of fish spawning hormones, injection procedures for spawning goldfish, koi, white amur and other species of fish. Prepared nursery pods including control of insecting, monitoring of soo plankton populations through plankton samples and microscopic identification of plankton genera during spring and summer months. Perform spawning techniques on largemouth bass and training of bass fingerlings to eat commercial dry diet. Use approved chemicals for treating fish parasites and diseases and calculating treatment rates for herbicides for treatment of aquatic plants and algae as well as application of those herbicides. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs frequently
