Job description
We are custom operation. We do custom harvesting of hay, corn, soybeans, and wheat, and do fieldwork. We also do manure application on fields. We use semi-tractor and trailers for hauling haylage, grains, manure, and corn silage. We use tractors for tillage, planting, rock picking, cutting hay, merging hay, and using grain carts. We need seasonal employees to assist with the following job duties. Must be able to drive semi-truck and/or tractors. Semi-drivers will be required to haul loads to and from field and be able to do walk around inspections and fueling their own equipment at the start of each day. Tractor operators will also have to check oil and fuel levels at the start of their day and depending upon if they are doing field work or hauling. All employees must follow any instructions given to them in the field. Every worker will be required to do semi driving, operating tractors, working in the shop area, power washing and complete light maintenance.
Special Requirements
We conduct post-hire drug test to enforce a drug free workplace policy at no cost to the employee. Failing a drug test will result in termination. We also conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a violent/theft criminal background. We require a regular drivers license. Must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
