Job description

Greenhouse:
Workers may seed plant trays.
Workers may clean and wash plant trays.
Workers may apply water and fertilizers to plants in trays.
Workers may clip and mow plants.
Workers may load plant trays onto trucks and wagons.

Diversified crops: corn, beans,
Workers may fill planters with seed from 50lb. Bags.
Workers may operate equipment to prepare fields
Workers may spray crops for weeds and grass.
Workers may apply water and fertilizers.
Workers may restock trucks and equipment with seed bags.
Workers may use equipment to prepare fields for planting.
Workers may load and unload harvested crops for shipping and storage

Special Requirements

Workers will begin at an assigned time, 7:00 am and continue until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If work is available beyond normal workdays the employer may offer, but not require, the worker the opportunity to work additional hours. Workers are not required to work the Sabbath Day or Federal Holidays. Worker may be required to work in the fields when leaves are wet with dew or rain and should have suitable clothing for conditions including light rain and temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to more than 100 degrees.
Employees may be subject to random drug test, post-employment at employers cost. 3 MONTHS DIVERS PRODUCE CROP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
WORKERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO STAND, WALK, BEND & STOOP, ALSO LIFT 60-80 LBS UP TO 4 FT. FOR EXTENDED PERIODS.
WORKERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTS AT EMPLOYERS COST, POST EMPLOYMENT
WORKERS WILL BE TRAINNED FOR 16 HOURS, AT WHICH TIME THEY WILL BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM ALL JOB DUTIES LISTED, IN A EFFECTIVE TIME MANNER.
