Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate crops. Maintain irrigation systems. Maintain farm sites. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive semi-trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Operate grain storage facilities.

Crops: Canola, Durum, Lentils, Peas

Equipment: Tractor, Combine, Semi-Trucks

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
