Job description
Workers will learn how to operate and maintain equipment and facilities on and around the Howze Farm row crop operation. Primary crops include but are not limited to, cotton and sorghum production. Workers should possess basic mechanical skills, ability to problem solve and assist in the planting, cultivation, spraying, and harvesting of these row crops. Workers will also perform daily maintenance of farm equipment and facilities. A valid Texas drivers license must be attainable with-in 30 days. Drug testing will be performed upon suspicion or incidence and will be at the expense of the employer. Refusal or failure of a drug test is grounds for immediate termination.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
