Job description
Job duties include the operation of various farm equipment to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops. Employees will perform inspections of equipment before use, perform general farm maintenance, and mechanical repair when needed. Employees will operate various farm equipment including but not limited to planting and seeding equipment, combines, and rock picking equipment. Duties also include manual labor such as shoveling grain, maintenance on and around the farmstead, lifting seed bags, and changing tires when needed. Employees must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; have 3 months of experience; and basic English literacy, reading, and math skills. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
Special Requirements
Employees must be able to lift 50 pounds since they will be lifting seed bags. Employees must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; have 3 months of experience; and basic English literacy, reading, and math skills.
