Job description
WILL TRAIN TO ASSIST GUESTS TO CHECK IN AND OUT OF MOTEL, ASSIGN ROOMS, ISSUE ROOM KEYS, PROCESS CASH AND CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS, AND MAKE RESERVATIONS. COMPLY WITH LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS, ORDERS, AND MANDATES RELATED TO CLEANING AND SANITATION REQUIRED TO COMBAT COVID 19. SHIFTS REQUIRED TO WORK ARE: 8AM-4PM AND/OR 2:30PM-10:30PM. 5 DAYS PER WEEK, 40 HOURS PER WEEK, DAYS MAY VARY. OVERTIME MAY BE AVAILABLE.
Special Requirements
Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning; Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment; Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers; Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels or motels; Issue room keys and escort instructions to bellhops; Make and confirm reservations; Post charges, such as those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers, manually or by using computers; and review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process.
