Job description
Duties include performing any combination of the following tasks: Cook food overheat & prepare dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, salads, appetizers, or desserts in a restaurant and/or quick service grill, maintain a clean workspace, and assist the Executive Chef. Will use all kitchen equipment, including but not limited to stove, oven, grill, fryer, knives, mixers, food processors, dishwater, and cleaning supplies. Position requires standing for the duration of the shift and may also include washing dishes and cleaning kitchen area.
Scheduled shift and workdays will vary. Rotate/split shifts. Weekends & holidays required.
Days & Shifts vary:
5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
4:00 PM - 12:00 PM
Special Requirements
Knowledge of safe and proper knife handling and food safety. Must have, or be willing and able to obtain a SAFESTAFF Food Handlers Certificate as required by law. The course is offered at no charge through our company.
Post-hire criminal records check to be conducted.
