Job description
Job duties will include operating large farm equipment, tractors, sprayers and semi-trucks to till soil and plant, irrigate, fertilize, cultivate, and harvest crops; cleaning and maintaining equipment; performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on farm equipment; loading grain trailers with grain, sprayers with chemicals, and planters with seed; lifting bags of seeds and jugs of chemicals; transporting grain from fields to storage locations; assisting with general farm duties. Manual labor will be required. Other duties will consist of using hand tools and brooms in the fields, grain bins, and other farm areas. The day to day duties on the farm vary, so workers will be asked to perform a variety of tasks. Applicant must have, or be able to obtain, a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills along with 3 months of experience are required. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.

Workers may be required to lift weights of up to 100 lbs when lifting equipment or loading seed or chemical. Workers may be exposed to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements while working.
