Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

We farm 1,000 acres of cotton and peanuts. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of the raising these crops. Must be willing and able to safely operate farm machinery including tractors, combines, fertilizer spreader, etc. Must be willing to learn the geographical area and be able to follow directions. Previous mechanical experience and welding experience a plus. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

***Please note that for 2023 we will be adjusting our starting date to March 1 to cover our entire crop season starting with field prep.

Special Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Require a regular drivers license and 3 months general farming experience.
