Job description

All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Isolate and raise queen bees. Feed and medicate bees. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Harvest, extract and package honey. Operate forklift to stack pallets. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season.

Special Requirements

Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively. Drivers license in 30 days. Clean driving record required. Due to bee health concerns, tobacco is strictly prohibited from all employer-owned premises. Any violation of company tobacco policies will lead to immediate termination. Drug free work environment. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing may be required at random.
