Job description

6 temporary Ground Persons needed for work beginning April 1, 2022 and continuing through December 1, 2022, working standard day shift from 8am to 4pm on Monday through Friday; hourly wage $20.08 or higher, with optional overtime offered often, at $30.12 hourly or higher; no prior experience or education or training required; Ground Person duties include ground-level pruning and ground-level trimming.

Also raking and digging and weeding and planting and watering.

Also chipping, and applying mulch and fertilizer treatments.

Also collecting and hauling out branches and debris, and loading/unloading crew vehicles.

The position is non-agricultural and entry-level.

Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.

Special Requirements

Bartlett Tree Experts will provide sick leave to employees. The employee will accrue paid sick leave at a minimum rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Employees are entitled to use accrued paid sick leave beginning on the 90th calendar day after the start of their employment, and sick leave will be paid at the employees normal hourly rate. Unused paid sick leave of 40 hours or less will be carried over to the following year for those workers returning to employment with Bartlett Tree Experts.
